Light Intelligent Lenses

Transitions Light Intelligent Lenses seamlessly adjust to varying lighting conditions, changing from clear to dark when outdoors, and back to clear when you’re inside. The lenses are equipped with patented, photochromic dyes, enabling them to rapidly darken, when exposed to ultraviolet light, and will continuously darken as the UV rays intensify, and will revert when you go back inside and UV rays are no longer present. By optimising the amount of light transmitted, Transitions lenses also help reduce glare for more effortless sight and clearer vision.

Gen 8 Lenses

GEN 8 Transitions lenses offer various improvements, such as faster transition times between clear and dark states, enhanced darkness outdoors, and improved effectiveness in any temperature. GEN 8 lenses filter up to 26% of blue-violet light indoors and up to 86% outdoors. Transitions GEN 8 lenses are unique in that they combine a disruptive nanocomposite matrix and a new generation of ultra-agile photochromic dyes for improved performance without sacrificing any one dimension of performance.
